Community Offer Terms & Conditions

Free venue hires to non-profit businesses or organisations that offer ALL of the below criteria.

The voluntary person(s)/organisation needs to;

  • be a CT10 resident.
  • offer a free service (i.e. workshop). – public liability must be in place
  • conduct an open-door policy where all are welcome.

The booker needs to be over the age of 18 and provide a copy of their public liability insurance.

The rule of 10 must be in focus, where for every ten members of the public, there should be one responsible person.

There is no entry fee, activities are free and no pitch fees are charged. The booker’s service must directly benefit the residents of Broadstairs and St Peter’s and do not provide significant advertising or other commercial benefits to a profit-making business or organisation.

The town council would have a right to promote these events to the public.

These events will operate as self-opening. There will be no office staff during these bookings. The booker will be the responsible person and required to sign our hire agreement.

The booker can only use the venue for the purpose described in the Hire Agreement. For example, the venue is not to be used by religious or political parties for the purpose of recruiting members or seeking donations or personal gain. Failure to uphold this agreement will result in being charged the full rate for the hall.
If the venue is used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way or for the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that are discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime; the local authorities will be informed.
